Post Title: Assistant Aircraft Marshaller (10 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To assist Aircraft Marshaller in marshalling of alrcraft activities
  • To collect and record daily statistics on incoming and outgoing fights and passenger movements
  • To assist in disseminang aircraft movement information to the public address centre and other users
  • To conduct apron inspection and eneurs there is fog, spiliage and any obstacles that can endanger aircraft movement and remove any costacies which will hinder the aircraft’s maneuvering on the apron
  • To inspect aerobridges, automatic optical guadance system, flood lights and unusual pavement concicon and report any damage, spillage or un-serviceability
  • To observe and ensure all apron movements (vehicles, equipments, staff and passengers comply with developed safety operating procedures vii. To report the occurrence accident incidents on ainside and apron immediately
  • To drect the plots where to paharat the apron and ensure proper parking of aircrafts in their respective parking bays based on their type and size, To assist Marshalier to undertake inspection of AVOP licenses of all drivers and operators on the amside,
  • To be in constant contact with Air Traffic Contrai, ground operations and communicate and disseminate the the same airport users eg airline operators information personnel and management and, To perform other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • one Folder of Certificate the following felds, Public Administration, Human Resources Statistics. Business Administration/Commerce majoring in Finance or Accounts, or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution and should have computer knowledge Applicant with knowledge of of foreign foreign Languages will be an added advantage

Salary Scale-TAAS 2
