Education qualifications

Job responsibilities
- To handle plastic prosthodontic appliances and normal laboratory procedures.
- To ensure that all dental machines and laboratory equipment are in working order and report any malfunction to the concerned authorities.
- To maintain a record of all patients with dental problems.
- To prepare artificial teeth and mouth parts as required.
- To take the size of patient’s teeth as instructed and work on them accordingly.
- To perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
Education qualification
Holder of Diploma in Dental Laboratory Technology or in any related field from recognized institution.
Position: Dental surgery
Number of position: 01 post
Job responsibilities
- To attend in and out patients.
- To attend emergency dental duties.
- To carry out investigations of admitted patients.
- To ensure that prescribed instructions are carried out.
- To conduct minor operations.
- To assist the dental specialist during operations.
- To carry out patient service and participate in major ward rounds.
- To supervise medical students and interns in clinical duties.
- To ensure that patients are properly prepared for surgery.
- To participate fully in morning clinical sessions, patient presentations, and journal clubs.
- To participate in research activities.

Education background
Holder of Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from a recognized institution plus successful completion of Internship and registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.

Job Responsibilities
- To assist in developing treatment plan to patients;
- To assist in calculation of dosage to be delivered by radiotherapy equipment;
- To assist in carrying out patient chart checks and dose verification;
- To support to develop and oversee implementation of quality assurance procedures and programs for therapy and related equipment;
- To assist to conduct mould room activities including fabrication of shielding blocks and fixations; and
- To perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor from time to time
Education qualifications
Holder of Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields: Physics and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
Position: Medical specilist (Internal medicine)

Job responsibilities
- To provide routine specialized dental services for in-patients and out patients.
- To supervise ward rounds and advice on appropriate medication.
- To participate in the training of dental students.
- To plan, supervise and evaluate dental and oral health services offered in his/her field.
- To prepare periodic reports regarding dental services.
- To carry out research in dental and oral health services and publish results for consumption by other experts.
- To supervise junior dental staff and give them technical advice.
- To plan and supervise outreach programmes in their areas.
- To prepare plans and budget estimates for dental and oral health services

Education qualification

Position: Orthopedic technologist

Job responsibilities
- To keep and maintain patients’ records.
- To make casts and take measurements as instructed.
- To fabricate various related appliances.
- To perform fitting of patients under the supervision and modification of defective appliance with the guidance of superior staff.
- To examine patients before undertaking treatment.
- To advise patients on how to use and maintain artificial limbs and body support devices.
- To ensure adherence to standard operating procedure and BMH business process.

Education qualification
Holder of Diploma in Orthotics/Prosthetics from a recognized Institution. Must be registered by the respective Regulatory Board/Council.
Position: Radiotherapist
Number of position: 01 post
Job qualifications:
- To administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts, using radiation therapy equipment according to established practices and standards
- To position patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription
- To enter data into computer and set controls to operate and adjust equipment and regulate dosage.
- To follow the principles of radiation protection for patient, self, and others
- To maintain proper records, reports and files as required, including such
information as radiation dosages, equipment settings and patients’ reactions - To perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor from time to time.
Education background
Holder of Diploma in Radiotherapy, Radiation Therapy Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution. Must be registered with the Medical Radiology and imaging Professionals.
