Duties of Development Manager
- Develop new customer relationships for the consulting and project management division to expand the business.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term business growth and satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities within the government sector.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and government forums to network and promote the company’s services.
- Oversee the proposal development process, ensuring that all submissions align with government requirements and specifications.
- Analyze industry trends, policies, and competitor activities to develop effective business strategies.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Education Background for Development Manager
- A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- A master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.
- The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in business development and sales, with a focus on (B2G) engagements.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and compliance requirements is essential.
