Position: Aircraft Marshaller

Number of Position: 10 Posts

Duties

  • To guide the aircraft to its designated position and communicate the engine startup signal to the cockpit once the engine is ready, ensuring that the areas around the engines are free of foreign object debris (FOD), personnel, and equipment;
  • To coordinate and allocate appropriate parking bays for aircraft based on their type and size and ensure proper parking arrangements are made for VIP flights;
  • To oversee apron operations, including supervising and directing towing or push-back procedures, while maintaining visual contact with the tug operator, cockpit, and wing/tail walkers;
  • To instruct wing walkers to remove the chocks once the cockpit has confirmed that the aircraft brakes are engaged.
  • v. To ensure that the operation of equipment around the aircraft complies with all ICAO, IATA, and TCAA Standard Operating Procedures for safety;
  • To receive flight information from air traffic controllers and relay it to airport users for announcements and the creation of the daily mayfly;
  • To efficiently communicate technical details regarding aircraft parking to airlines, ground handlers, and controllers;
  • To monitor compliance with apron safety rules, such as the use of reflective vests, safety boots, ear protection, and proper equipment parking, ensuring adherence to safety operating procedures;
  • To immediately report any accidents or incidents on the airside or apron using the appropriate forms after being notified by the assistant marshaller;
  • To regularly check and verify the AVOP licenses of all drivers operating on the airside;
  • To continuously track flight movements in the system and maintain accurate records of all aircraft and passenger movements in the logbook;
  • To prepare and submit daily work reports prior to handing over the shift; and
  • To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Education Background

The candidate should hold a diploma in one of the following fields: statistics, business administration/commerce with a focus on finance or accounting, banking, or a related qualification from a recognized institution. Additionally, the candidate must possess computer skills and have completed an Apron Management course.

Position: Assistant Customer service Officer

Number of Position: 10 Posts

Duties

  • To identify and assess the needs of customers;
  • To engage with airport customers, offering information and assistance in response to their inquiries regarding available services;
  • To collaborate with other departments on customer service issues and provide daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports;
  • To deliver consistent, high-quality customer care in line with professional standards in the workplace;
  • To communicate courteously with customers at all times, whether by phone, email, letters, or face-to-face interactions;
  • To receive and relay airline information and flight schedules to passengers and other customers;
  • To gather flight information from Air Traffic Controllers and other airline operators and submit it to supervisors and relevant users;
  • To issue gate passes to visitors;
  • To maintain records of airport visitors;
  • To provide customers with information on tours, travel agents, and hotel accommodations;
  • To guide and offer explanations to visitors at the airport; and
  • To perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education Background

The candidate should hold a diploma in customer care, business administration (with a focus on marketing), commerce, marketing, mass communication, international relations, sociology, or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
