Duties
- The primary responsibility of the marketing manager is to enhance the visibility of VisionFund Microfinance Bank’s brand, products, and services.
- The person in this role will take the lead in creating VisionFund Tanzania’s marketing strategy and developing a comprehensive marketing plan.
- The marketing manager will also spearhead the creation of innovative strategies aimed at significantly boosting the bank’s brand recognition and appeal in the market.
- This position will ensure that VisionFund Tanzania’s branches are strategically located to maximize client outreach and brand visibility, while also ensuring that the branches are consistently branded to maintain a strong corporate image.
- The Manager will also be responsible for ensuring VisionFund has a robust presence across social media platforms, radio, and other relevant media channels.
Main Tasks
- Create strategies and tactics to increase awareness of the bank and attract qualified traffic to its services.
- Plan and execute successful marketing campaigns, overseeing the entire process from concept to implementation.
- Develop compelling and valuable content for the bank’s website and social media platforms that resonates with and converts target audiences.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders, agencies, and vendors.
- Collaborate with branch offices to identify optimal locations for new branches.
Education Background
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant area would be an added advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience as a marketing manager, ideally in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and tactics.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in social media marketing.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A determined and proactive personality, with perseverance, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
