POSITION: Resident Engineer
NUMBER OF POSITION: 03 Posts
DUTIES
- Assist in preparing sketches, maps, and reports detailing the work performed.
- Support in reviewing survey data for accuracy, including verifying measurements and calculations taken at survey sites.
- Record survey results, documenting the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
- Assist in determining the specifications for photographic equipment to be used in aerial photography.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND
- The applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- The candidate must be registered with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB) as a Professional Engineer and hold a current practicing license.
- A postgraduate qualification in Bridge/Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.
- The candidate must have at least seven (7) years of cumulative experience in related fields, including supervision and/or design of bridge/structure construction projects.
- The applicant must have worked in a similar role on at least three (3) projects of a similar nature within the past 7 years.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Swahili and English is mandatory.
POSITION: Structure & Bridge Engineer

DUTIES
- Review structural drawings and reports to ensure they comply with applicable standards and specifications.
- Inspect and approve construction materials to verify their compliance with technical specifications.
- Maintain records, including reports, work diaries, and correspondence related to drainage structures on a daily basis.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND
- The applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- The candidate must be registered with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB) as a Professional Engineer and possess a current practicing license.
- A postgraduate qualification in civil engineering will be considered an added advantage.
- The candidate must have at least ten (10) years of cumulative experience in road and bridge construction design, supervision, and contract management/administration under FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
- The applicant must have served as a resident engineer or in an equivalent role on at least three (3) road construction projects of similar nature within the past 10 years.
POSITION: Assistant Land Surveyor
NUMBER OF POSITION: 01 Post
DUTIES
- Review survey data for accuracy, verifying measurements and calculations taken at survey sites.
- Identify and locate all beacons and benchmarks to assist the contractor in setting out and constructing the works.
- Lead or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND
- The applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen with a Diploma in Land Surveying or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- The candidate must have at least five (5) years of cumulative experience in related fields.
